For nine years, Dress for Success Ottawa has hosted Stepping Out our premiere fundraising event empowering women in our community to achieve economic independence and professional success. Since its inception, Stepping Out has had many exciting themes: we’ve invited guests to a carnival, introduced them to fashion throughout the decades, and encouraged them to take a trip with us around the world.
In 2020, we’re bringing you the Step Gala – the tenth and final year of Stepping Out. As our last year of the gala, we’re going bigger and glitzier than ever. Whether you’ve been attending for the past decade or it will be your first time coming, we can’t wait for you to join us and help us end the Stepping Out legacy with a bang.
Your involvement in Stepping Out – whether it’s as a donor, sponsor, attendee, or all of the above! – helps us raise funds in support of Dress for Success Ottawa’s ongoing programs. Dress for Success aims to promote women’s economic independence by providing professional attire and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life. In 2019, Dress for Success Ottawa provided over 1000 women with career coaching, professional development training, networking, professional workwear, and more. Every penny raised through Stepping Out goes towards programs like these and others. We couldn’t do it without you!
