The City of Ottawa will be hosting the sixth annual Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards this fall. We would like to invite you to nominate up to three (3) individuals from the local community to be recognized for their business success and contribution to the Ottawa economy.
As the name of the award suggests, we are looking for nominees who embody the entrepreneurial spirit! Do you know an immigrant to Canada who deserves to be recognized for their contributions to the Ottawa economy in any of the following ways:
- Do they hire, source or purchase locally?
- Have they built a national/international brand through exports?
- Have they launched an interesting and innovative new startup here in Ottawa?
- Have they been able to attract tourists and investment to the city?
- Do they try and help other businesses succeed by providing their time and resources?
