Algonquin College’s Office of Applied Research and Innovation will be hosting Applied Research Day on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at its Ottawa (Woodroffe) campus. The event highlights the leading edge applied research being done in collaboration with industry, institutional and community partners. Applied Research Day is a must for employers looking for talented employees and collaborators to support their businesses’ growth in the 21st Century economy.

The Office of Applied Research and Innovation welcomes Keynote Speaker Aydin Mirzaee, CEO of a new company: Fellow Insights. Before Fellow, Aydin co-founded Fluidware in 2008 which was responsible for running two very successful SaaS businesses:

The company was bootstrapped and grew to a $12M run-rate and over 90 people in staff. After 6.5 years, Fluidware was acquired by SurveyMonkey (the world’s leading online survey company).

Aydin, is also the co-founder of http://FreshFounders.com, a non-profit organization with the vision to create a community of young entrepreneurs in every city around the world.
