
Grow and succeed in your arts career with this intensive 6-part course designed for independent Ottawa region artists, arts collectives and arts groups. Explore more in-depth arts entrepreneurship skills and knowledge in a small group setting with a maximum of 16 participants.
They will be facilitated by Ethel Côté, Victoria Steele and 4+ additional special expert guests.
Ethel Côté, CEO of mécènESS, co-founding member of the Social Enterprise Council of Canada, and during the last 30 years, developer to numerous enterprises in a variety of sectors including the Art Sector.
Training will provide participants with skills to better plan and market their work with creative ‘business’ solutions for goal setting, marketing plans, legal essentials and financial risk management.

Jan 7: Setting your Purpose, Goals and Value Proposition
Jan 14: Building a Business Plan for Artists and Arts groups using the Business Model Canvass
Jan 21: Creating your Marketing Strategy and managing your relationships
Jan 28: Budgeting and Managing your Finances
Feb 4: Legal Essentials: Rights and responsibilities
Feb 11: Telling your story and pitching to potential supporters
