This workshop will provide an overview of impact measurement, dive into the benefits of ingraining it into a social enterprise’s business plan and introduce useful tools to aid in tracking social and environmental impact. Jonathan Wade of Social Delta will introduce the topic and answer your questions around measuring impact. Stefan Hostetter from the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) will provide a walkthrough of the CSI Impact Dashboard, a tool that allows you to track, visualize, understand and share your impact. Doing good is one thing, being able to show it is another!
Come prepared to explore what should be tracked, why it’s important and what measuring impact can do to validate and grow a social enterprise.

Jonathan Wade, Social Delta
Jonathan Wade is the Principal at Social Delta. A consultant in social finance, small business development, social marketing and social entrepreneurship, he has more than 25 years experience in the not-for-profit sector working for agencies providing community supports in health care, newcomer settlement and integration, human rights, crisis services, international development and poverty alleviation.
Stefan Hostetter, Centre for Social Innovation
Stefan is probably best described as someone who doesn’t stop moving, whether that’s a positive thing is harder to discern. Ever since the first year dorms of the University of Toronto he’s been obsessed with the power of community and the impact they can play on our lives. This obsession along with a belief in the need for a healthy planet has lead him to creating a variety of projects all centred around the environment, culture, media, and the oxford comma.
