Health Canada: Drug Testing Technology Challenge

Health Canada has launched a challenge to improve on drug checking technology to allow the community of people who use drugs and those who support them to make more informed decisions based on the composition of a drug and to reduce harm.

The first step: to compete for a $25,000 semi-finalist prize to develop a rapid, accurate, easy to use, and low-cost drug checking device or instrument that can be used with minimal training and preparation work. Up to 10 semi-finalists will be selected.
