The first in Flex’s Seminar Series at Bayview Yards, the Design for Reliability presentation will cover a general overview of the key aspects of design for reliability with a deep dive into MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) analysis. MTBF, a critical element of reliability analysis and prediction is often misunderstood. It is a valuable tool for early and cost effective reliability engagement in the design process. When modeled and interpreted, consistently and correctly, this analysis can identify areas of concern for design, and quantify warranty exposure for management. There will be plenty of time for questions and an opportunity to schedule complimentary one-on-one advisory sessions following the presentation.

Bio:

Daniel Pascoli is an ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer with Flex Canada. He received his engineering degree from The University of Ottawa, and has 19 years of design and reliability experience in the Ottawa high tech industry. His projects varied from Telecom to Medical to Consumer Electronics to name a few. He enjoys getting paid to break things for a living, so he doesn’t have to do so at home.
