Over 500 volunteer Mentors (Ottawa professionals) support newcomers to employment in Ottawa every year. The mentorship experience is a win-win for both Mentor and Mentee; enhanced cross-cultural competency, development of career coaching and leadership skills and for newcomer clients; enhanced experience of the Canadian work culture and employment within their field.

The Ottawa Mentorship Collaborative for Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs) led by Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO) is a community-based collaborative framework to support mentoring initiatives in the Ottawa community.
