“Celebrating and Supporting Indigenous Entrepreneurs”

Register now for our 5th Pow Wow Pitch to be one of the 25 Indigenous entrepreneurs to pitch your business idea in front of a panel of judges to have the chance to win $5,000. $2,500, $1,000 or $1,000 (Youth prize 0-25).

This one day event brings Indigenous entrepreneurs:

1. Micro start-up money,
2. The chance to showcase your business or business idea,
3. The opportunity to get mentored by business experts,
4. The opportunity to connect with Indigenous Entrepreneurs

How?

• Pitchers get sixty (60) seconds to pitch their idea
• Ten (10) entrepreneurs are chosen to advance to the second round
• Top Ten (10) Pitchers get mentored by leading business experts
• The selected top 10 finalists get three (3) minutes to pitch and one (1) minute question and answer
• Four (4) winners are chosen

Spaces are limited and spots filled up quickly.

NOTE: Only one registration is needed per pitch. Groups who pitch together only need to register once.

• 8:30-9:30 Registration for pitchers
• 9:30-10:45 Twenty-five (25) Pitchers get sixty (60) seconds to pitch their idea
• 11:00-11:15 Judges announce top 10 pitchers
• 11:15-11:30 Top ten (10) finalist are announced and matched with mentors
• 11:30-2:30 Pitchers get mentored
• 2:30-3:30 Top ten (10) finalist get three (3) minutes to pitch & question and answer period
• 3:30-5:15 Judges deliberate
• 5:15-5:30 Pow Wow Pitch winner is announced & Closing remarks and photographs
