Demystifying Entrepreneurship With Disabled Youth (DEWDY)
The purpose of this course is to break down barriers to entrepreneurship for youth with self-identified disabilities and/or mental health conditions. We aim to show that running your own business is achievable, through discussion and group activities.
This will be a four-week course (webinar), with weekly online classes Monday afternoons at 4 pm from October 18th to November 8th (See schedule below).

- Week 1 (Oct. 18, 2021) – What is entrepreneurship? What does it mean to you? Definitions and discussions.
- Week 2 (Oct. 25, 2021) – Creating a business from passion. What are you passionate about?
- Week 3 (Nov 1, 2021) – Creating a business to solve a problem. What bothers you? What problem would you like to fix?
- Week 4 (Nov 8, 2021) – Benefits of running your own business when disabled; flexibility and control. What’s next for you?
