Contracting is essential to the operation of any successful business. Whether it’s a lease, a service agreement, a supplier agreement or online terms of service, start-ups need good contract habits to keep their customers happy and their company protected. This lecture covers contracting basics and gives entrepreneurs a primer on what to look for when a contract is presented to them and what to think about when designing their own.

 Speaker

Andrew Higdon is an associate with the Business Law practice group at Low Murchison Radnoff LLP. He enjoys advising a range of commercial, institutional and individual clients and helping them move forward with confidence. He is a graduate of the McGill University Faculty of Law, and holds degrees in both common and civil law. Before his career in law, Andrew managed a company overseas. His legal practice is informed by his practical experience managing a business and working through the challenges associated with its growth.
