OBEC is hosting a Sense of Place and Sustainability workshop on the 13th of May at the Rideau Branch of the Ottawa Public Library from 1pm to 3pm. This free public workshop topic is how having a sense of place increases environmental stewardship and produces social benefits. Our speakers will explore how our relationship with our rivers, public policy, and tourism all affect placemaking and environmental stewardship in our community. Come and explore this idea with us!
