Inventure will be introducing itself to the Ottawa community through its first official launch event, Sparkfest, which is scheduled for August 23 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata.

This formal event will feature keynote speakers, booths provided by tech companies from the Kanata Business Association, and a pitch competition. This competition will enable budding young entrepreneurs to enter their idea for a cool new venture that integrates technology for a chance to win awesome prizes.

Ultimately, Sparkfest will also function as an incredible networking platform which will help students connect with mentors and for startups to recruit young talent. Several companies that are to attend include Invest Ottawa, Mindbridge AI and Kids & Code. Similarly, our community partners include Kanata BIA and IEEE Carleton. As Sparkfest is bound to connect youth with important opportunities, we will be providing free admission to ensure that youth from less fortunate socioeconomic backgrounds can participate and benefit all the same.
