A digital-first environment creates pressure to always be connected, leading to longer working hours and greater stress. To create work-life harmony, we need a different approach in managing our time, energy and attention.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how the workplace is shifting to a digital-first environment and why self-management skills are essential for your performance and well-being. You will discover why time-management is not the solution, but rather energy and attention management are critical. We will review how to create an optimal routine, starting your day with intention, managing distractions and interruptions, and develop greater focus to accomplish more. Realize the self-management skills you need to improve your well-being.

This workshop is part of the Prioritizing Mental Well-Being: A Workshop Series for Entrepreneurs. Recent studies show that 2/3 of entrepreneurs experience poor mental well-being. This can be anything from stress to burnout to breakdown. In this series, various speakers will showcase how you can support your own mental well-being, red flags along the way, share their own experiences, and equip you with tangible tips.

About the Speaker: Scott Rust

Five years ago, I began working with a client overseas, which allowed me to travel and work from home. Dream job, right?! Completely independent, I was procrastinating and struggling to focus. I was spinning my wheels and not making progress. I quickly discovered the job didn’t need to change. I did.

It wasn’t until I began investing in self-management skills that I saw a transformation in my life and business. I went on to manage $4-5M in international business accounts before moving on to complete my coaching certification with the International CoachingFederation.

As COO and Co-Founder of Intuity Performance, I specialize in productivity and leadership coaching and training, working with employees and teams to develop the self-management skills required to optimize their performance and well-being.
