This workshop will examine the impact of Brexit for U.K. businesses and for Canadian companies dealing with the U.K. and the E.U., both from an exporter and an importer perspective, focusing on the trade in goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>About the speaker:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following a + 30-year international logistics career, Christian Sivi\u00e8re started a Montr\u00e9al-based import-export consultancy in 2010, Solimpex, active in two areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n\t<li>consulting to help SMEs grow internationally; and<\/li>\n\n\n\t<li>training on the regulatory, customs and logistics aspects of Importing and Exporting, Free Trade Agreements and Supply Chain Optimization.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christian is a subject-matter expert and lectures for the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association in Toronto, gives seminars and webinars for various trade organizations like the Montreal Chamber of Commerce, Export Qu\u00e9bec, Invest Ottawa, Supply Chain Canada and similar, and personalized training for importers and exporters.
