CATWAO (Canadian and Turkish Women’s Association of Ottawa) International Women’s Day Market is an annual multicultural indoor marketplace, now proudly in its second year, organized to celebrate International Women’s Day and support women entrepreneurs.

The event brings together small, women-owned businesses offering a variety of products, including food, jewelry, crafts, clothing, and handmade goods from Turkish, Canadian, and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Building on the strong interest and positive community response from its first year, the market aims to promote women-led entrepreneurship, encourage cultural exchange, and strengthen community connections. It also provides a welcoming platform for local women entrepreneurs to showcase their work, connect with the community, and support one another.
