What did Ottawa’s tech scene look like before it became a global tech hub, and where is it headed next?

You’re invited to find out one week from today at Science to Startups: Ottawa Then and Now, part of Carleton’s annual Throwback celebrations.

Featuring Carleton Science alum Jason Flick, co-founder of You.i TV and a longtime entrepreneur in Ottawa’s technology and startup scene, the event will take a look at how Ottawa’s tech ecosystem has evolved, from its early days to the innovative community we know today.
You’ll hear Jason’s perspective on Ottawa’s transformation into a tech hub, the people and ideas that helped shape the city’s technology scene, and what could be next.

And there’s more! Come explore some of Carleton’s coolest spaces and collections, including the Kessler Observatory and Vintage Computing Collection, along with other unique demonstrations that make the Faculty of Science one of a kind.

This event is not affiliated with Invest Ottawa and is independently organized by a third party.
