An Elevate International IWW Series Event
Part 3 – International Women’s Day Celebration
Traditionally held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, this annual leadership event is dedicated to advancing women’s leadership and economic empowerment. This event inspires more women to take on leadership roles; powers the workforce and encourages more leaders to realize the direct positive impact of women’s leadership has in our society. With the support of our partners, we are planning a powerfully elevating experience—attracting national and international attendees.
This year, Elevate International is transforming its annual International Women’s Day on Parliament in-person event to a far-reaching 3-part virtual gathering of women in the workplace, corporate leaders, thought leaders and influencers passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This year’s theme is Elevate Women – Make History. We’re celebrating women’s history while empowering more women to break barriers.
Women have been making history since the beginning of time, but often left out history. This year, we will be inspired by those who have paved the way and empowered by today’s leaders who are elevating more women to break down barriers.
There has never been a more important time to support women in the workplace and the advancement of women in leadership. The events of 2020 and still ongoing turned workplaces upside and intensified challenges that women already faced. Women are more likely to have been laid off or took a leave of absence during the COVID-19 crisis. As a result, more than one in four women are contemplating what many would have previously considered unthinkable: downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce completely. Today, companies risk losing women in leadership, future women leaders and the years of hard-word toward advancing gender diversity.
Join us for a conversation with national and international leaders and be inspired by those who have paved the way and empowered by today’s leaders who are elevating more women to break down barriers.
