As a member of Invest Ottawa’s Strategic HR team, the Human Resources Coordinator will partner with the Vice President of Human Resources to support the coordination, administration and implementation of a wide range of Human Resources practices and programs to meet our organizational goals and deliver world class HR service to the Invest Ottawa team.
The role will allow you the opportunity to work with employees and the leadership team of Invest Ottawa and Bayview Yards (IO/BY). You will assist the team in positioning IO/BY as a top employer of choice and drive our high-performance culture by enhancing the employee experience. You will support the development and execution of new and innovative HR practices that will support our corporate culture. You will support the efforts involved in the talent acquisition process, conduct a variety of HR research, ensure HR data integrity, produce monthly team KPI reports and guarantee consistent delivery of HR programs.
You are an energetic and highly motivated individual with 1-2 years related human resources experience. You enjoy working in a challenging, innovative and collaborative culture and are known for your communication skills and ability to build rapport with people quickly. You are comfortable learning new technology and have stellar project coordination abilities. You have strong attention to detail. You are a people person who is ready to champion internal culture with a strong drive to succeed. You have a can-do attitude and are keen to take your HR knowledge to the next level.
