Transportation
Complimentary shuttle service will be available between the Nepean Sportsplex and Area X.O throughout the day. Parking is available at the Nepean Sportsplex only. Additional details and shuttle schedules will be provided to registered attendees in advance of the event.

Important Details to Help Create a Great Experience for You

Committed to Your Safety – Waivers: At Area X.O, your safety is our top priority. All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to entering Area X.O consistent with the security protocols and policies established for our active R&D and test site.

• Please complete our Area X.O online waiver here
• All waivers must be completed online before entering Area X.O
• We regret we will be unable to permit entry to our R&D facility without a signed waiver
• Our welcome team will greet you upon your arrival to ensure your form is complete
• These protocols help keep you and all visitors safe at Area X.O
• *Please note: Attendees must be at least 16 years of age to enter the event.

Hop Aboard our Bus to GCXpo
We look forward to shuttling all GCXpo guests to the event via bus. Hop on at the Nepean Sportsplex parking lot and join us for a two-minute ride across the street into our R&D complex. There is an entire technology-rich living lab waiting for you behind the fields of corn! Buses will be available and operating consistently to minimize wait times for all participants.

Refreshments and Food Available for Purchase
We are delighted to have some of Ottawa’s best local food trucks onsite with us for GCXpo. All guests and participants will have the opportunity to select and purchase the food of their choice to refuel and replenish throughout the day. Please bring along cash and credit/debit for your purchases onsite.

Recommended Attire
GCXpo is an epic day of demonstrations at Area X.O’s private innovation facility. As the majority of this event will take place in the great outdoors, we encourage you to dress for the fall weather. This includes comfortable footwear suitable for grassy and uneven terrain. Additionally, we recommend bringing an umbrella should the forecast call for a sprinkle. We will apprise all registered participants of any changes to this event via email.
