Presenters: Peter Bain & Lee Bowie
Peter Bain (https://github.com/pdgbain-ibm), an twelve-year veteran of IBM’s J9 (now Eclipse OpenJ9) high performance Java runtime and an open-source contributor.
His experience covers the core VM features such as classloading and object layout, Java class libraries, diagnostic features, performance improvements, security features, test methodology, and customer support.
Lee Bowie is a Technology Evangelist for IBM and will explain how to get access to IBM technologies and give a brief overview of grants available to startups and options for developers.
