The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program is a federal tax incentive program designed to encourage Canadian businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada.
The seminar is designed for all companies: start-ups, small-medium enterprises, or any company performing R&D work in their industry in Canada.
The seminar will provide information on the benefits and requirements of the SR&ED program. We will give an overview of the program, then we will discuss the eligibility criteria. We will talk about the T661, the form to be submitted with your SR&ED claim with a focus on Part2, Section B of that form, the Project Description. We will talk about the financial aspects of the SR&ED program. Finally we will present the free services and tools that the CRA offers to assist potential claimants.
