Instructor: Dr. Shahzad Khan
Shahzad Khan is the CTO of Gnowit Inc, an Ottawa (Canada) based firm that provides personalized, real-time web intelligence for individuals and corporations. The firm employs artificial intelligence to automatically gather data from fragmented web sources in near-real-time and filter the data using human-like synthetic cognitive methods to provide highly curated intelligence to their clients. He has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge (UK), an MSc in Information Studies from Syracuse University (NY, USA). Shahzad has been working with industrial AI application since 1998.

Long Dinh is an investment analyst at Invest Ottawa where he engages in business development activities and helped more than 60 startups in conducting market research. Long is also an analyst at Mistral Venture Partners where he has the opportunities to work with leading A.I. startups in Mistral portfolio including Blue J Legal (Toronto), Stratuscent (Montreal) and Rare Logic (Ottawa). Long holds an MBA in Finance and a Master’s Degree in International Business
