How to work with U.S. DoD’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)
The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) of the only organization in the U.S. Department of Defense focused on accelerating the adoption of commercial and dual-use technology to solve operational challenges at speed and scale. DIU award scalable contracts to companies offering solutions to national security challenges across a variety of technology areas.
With a potential budget of $1billion (FY2024) to build a portfolio of commercially acquired technologies that could be deployed within one to three years, working with the DIU is an excellent opportunity for Canadian businesses with emerging or dual-use technologies.
