This workshop covers the basics of public competitive bid process. Participants will learn about the various methods that government departments use when acquiring goods and services, the duties of the department to ensure that the process remains fair, open and transparent, and where to find the 3 levels of government opportunities.
The workshop is geared for small business owners who have limited knowledge of government tendering process as well as individuals who need a refresher on the recent changes happening in the competitive bid landscape.
Speaker Bio: Jennifer Robitaille has been assisting small business owners to find and respond to government contracts. She also possesses over 10 years experience as a professional public purchaser within the 3 levels of government, writing and administering competitive bids. She eats and breathes procurement and is passionate about sharing her knowledge on how small business owners can conquer the complex government tendering process.
