Be part of one of Ottawa’s first food system innovation challenges, hosted by NL Eats Community Outreach Inc., a registered Canadian charity advancing food security, innovation, and youth-led community engagement.
The Ottawa Food Innovation Challenge is a one-day, hands-on event that brings together students, entrepreneurs, and community changemakers to design creative, real-world solutions that strengthen our local food systems.
Participants will form teams to tackle key themes:
- Food Waste
- Sustainable Agri-Tech
- Food Access & Equity
- Community Systems & Resilience
Using Lovable.ai or other no-code tools, teams will prototype their ideas, pitch to a panel of judges, and compete for a $500 prize.
All participants and volunteers will receive certificates of participation and a valuable networking opportunity with community innovators and professionals in the food and tech space.
