The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program is a federal tax incentive program designed to encourage Canadian businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada.
The seminar is designed for all companies: start-ups, small-medium enterprises, or any company performing R&D work in their industry in Canada.
The seminar will provide information on the benefits and requirements of the SR&ED program. We will give an overview of the program, then discuss the type of work that can be eligible under this program. We will talk about the T661, the form to be filled to submit your SR&ED claim with a focus on Part2 Section B, the Project Description. We will briefly discuss IRAP and SR&ED. Finally we will present the free services and tools that the CRA offers to assist potential claimants.
