This event marks the launch of a new partnership between the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) and CMC Microsystems, a collaboration designed to expand Canada’s semiconductor talent pipeline through training, research, and work-integrated learning opportunities. The event will also unveil ICTC’s landmark report, Mapping Canada’s Semiconductor Industry: Insights on Talent, Workforce Development, and Technological Strengths, which provides new insights on workforce challenges, industry strengths, and policy directions for building a globally competitive semiconductor sector.

Bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and partners across sectors, the event will highlight the pivotal role of semiconductors in shaping Canada’s future priorities.
