The Legacy Expo: Ottawa

The Legacy Expo: Ottawa is set to make history as the city’s first dedicated Legacy Expo.

Billed as a fundraiser for an ambitious mobile hospice project, H.O.P.E Mobile Hospice, spearheaded by Home Hospice Association, this event is taking place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glebe Community Centre (175 Third Ave, Ottawa, ON K1S 2K2).

This one-day event will provide an opportunity for professionals in the deathcare industry to showcase their services, engage with the public, and network with peers.

The event is hosted by a collective of organizations, including When You Die, and Damselfly Death Doula, with a mission to demystify and destigmatize conversations around death, provide valuable education on end-of-life planning, and foster a sense of community support.

Again, all funds raised will go towards supporting Home Hospice Association’s (HHA) efforts to develop the H.O.P.E Mobile Hospice program, delivering hospice care to those experiencing houselessness or otherwise unable to receive care at home.
