Celebrating Asian Heritage and Business: Visibility, Community and Strength

May is Asian Heritage Month – inclusive of all cultural groups of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage.

We are honoured to celebrate the many Asian community members and leaders who have always made, and continue to make, enormous contributions to our region, society, and economy.

Together, we aim to:

* Help foster meaningful relationships with small-medium enterprises in the Asian community, and create new opportunities for these firms

* Promote and drive greater traffic and customers to Chinatown and other Asian businesses across Canada’s Capital and Eastern Ontario

* Amplify underrepresented Asian voices and their business needs

* Create a safe space to build morale and mutual support for Asian business owners including those impacted by the pandemic and the rise in anti-Asian violence
