International Women’s Day on Parliament is an annual conference dedicated to advance women’s leadership and economic empowerment.
The conference unites leaders and organizations committed to advancing gender diversity in leadership ; empowers more women to take on leadership roles; and encourage more leaders to realize the direct positive impact women’s leadership has in every community and in the world today.
International Women’s Day 2020
Imagine equality in corporate boardrooms and senior leadership positions in all sectors. A world where women have equal say in decisions that affect their lives, their policies, their environment, and their careers. women leading for our collective good because when women lead they lead for all.
Despite some progress, real change has been agonizingly slow, this year’s theme is: Elevate Women – Lead Equality; celebrating leaders and organizations creating transformative change towards the achievement of gender diversity in leadership, then challenging ourselves to have authentic conversations on realistic steps that will be required to advance women’s leadership.
This theme is in solidarity with the UN Women’s Generation Equality campaign, to accelerate gender equality actions and mark the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the most visionary agenda for women’s rights and empowerment everywhere.
Unorthodox and stimulating, there will be thought provoking speakers to spark constructive dialogue amongst private, public and not-for profit sectors.
It is in this spirit that we are pleased to invite you to the International Women’s Day 2020: Elevate Women – Lead Equality.
