Investing in Local Green Energy Projects

The energy landscape is changing. Established low carbon and clean energy technologies are shifting the way communities conserve, generate and distribute electricity. CoEnergy, a new member-driven co-operative based in Ottawa, is seeking to ensure the transition is a democratic process that brings benefits to those whose lives are directly affected.

For a limited time, interested investors can invest in five local energy efficiency projects. Deadline is Feb. 25, 2019 or until all shares have been sold.

This casual talk will cover the basics of community power in Ontario, impact investing, and how you can invest our the first series of local solar investments.

Join us for some pizza, meet members and investors, and have all your questions answered by Co-operative staff.
